How to create a Chatbot

Box

Each box represents an action within the chatbot flow. Select a box to see its description, main fields and related configuration area.

Receptive

This is the initial box where everything starts. It lets you simulate, share the chatbot as a link or embed it on a web page.

  • Internal name that identifies the box in the argument flow.
  • Text that documents the box functionality.
  • Unique code used to identify the header.
  • Language configured for the chatbot.
  • Voice used when calls are made through the argument flow.

Content available without JavaScript

The menu links take you to each section. Highlight interaction requires JavaScript, but the main content remains visible.

Receptive

Send

Sends a message to the user. It can use written text, audio files and speech interruption options.

  • channel selector: Defines whether audio, text or another available channel will be sent.
  • files or text: Content that the user will receive.
  • speech interruption: Allows the user to interrupt the message when the flow requires it.

Request

Requests an answer from the user and routes the flow according to the recognized result.

  • label: Box name.
  • description: Functional description of the request.
  • 4 possible outputs: Routes for answer, silence, error or grammar result.
  • initial maximum wait time: Time to wait before detecting no answer.
  • maximum listening time: Maximum duration for listening to the answer.
  • engine: Configured recognition engine.
  • grammar: Rules used to interpret the answer.

Buttons

Lets you add up to four buttons so the user can choose an option visually.

  • speech selector: Message displayed with the buttons.
  • labels: Visible text for each available button.

Multidigit

Reserved box for handling multi-digit input. The operational content is marked as undefined.

Schedule

Defines time periods and routes the flow according to execution date and time.

  • label: Name of the schedule block.
  • description: Explains the configured schedule.
  • periods: Time ranges, days and outputs that control the flow.

Prefix

Reserved box for working with input prefixes. The operational content is marked as undefined.

Webservice

Calls external web services and can store the result for later use.

  • description: Purpose of the integration.
  • service URL: URL of the web service that will be invoked.
  • POST variable: Data sent to the service.
  • JSON: Path used to locate the value in the response.
  • store in memory: Stores the result for reuse.
  • outputs: Routes according to the call result.

Calculate

Runs calculations or expressions and can store the result in memory.

  • expression: Formula or expression to calculate.
  • store in memory: Variable where the result will be stored.
  • outputs: Possible flow continuations.

Action

Runs supporting actions such as timestamps, call scheduling, classification or transfer.

  • action type: Selects the operation performed by the box.
  • timestamp: Records a specific moment in the flow.
  • schedule call: Allows scheduling a later call.
  • transfer: Routes the conversation or call to another destination.

AI

Integrates artificial intelligence into the flow to interpret messages and generate answers based on instructions.

  • description: Purpose of AI in the flow.
  • AI engine: Model or engine used to process the interaction.
  • memory variable: Variable used to read or store context.
  • start: Initial instruction for the AI.
  • request: Prompt sent to the AI.
  • defined text: Prompt or content configured by the user.
  • speech interruption: Allows the user to interrupt.
  • send response to user: Sends the generated response to the user.
  • functions: Functions available to the AI.
  • parameters: Parameters that complete the setup.

Spider

Browses a website, extracts information and stores it for use in the argument flow.

  • search engines: Engine used to find information.
  • memory variable: Variable where the result is stored.
  • delay: Waiting time during browsing.
  • command: Instruction that controls extraction.
